The Color of Education promotes and encourages the achievement of success for students. In order to help students reach their goals, the program provides Color of Education members the opportunity to gain financial assistance through scholarships.
1. Must be a member of The Color of Education and participate at the annual conference.
2. GPA of 2.5
3. Written Essay on the challenges of adversity in obtaining your educational goals and how you overcame them.
4. Oral Expectations:
- Verbally explain your experience(s) that you describe in your written essay.
(This is your opportunity to expand your explanation/thoughts about your experiences with adversities and how the scholarship will help you with your post-secondary education.)
5. Professional dress is recommended
